Our gift boxes are thoughtfully curated to fit through a standard UK letterbox, providing a convenient delivery option without requiring the recipient to be present. We take care to package items securely to ensure that each gift box arrives in excellent condition. However, there may be slight variations in the appearance or packaging of products, as we continually refine our offerings to bring you high-quality selections.

While we aim for accuracy in all product descriptions, slight variations may occur, and product packaging may differ slightly from that displayed. Some items or services are offered exclusively online and may have limited quantities. These items are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

To represent our products as accurately as possible, we make every effort to display images and colors faithfully. However, we cannot guarantee that the color displayed on your device will precisely match the product.

Gift Through the Gap reserves the right to limit sales of our products or services based on the buyer’s location, jurisdiction, or other factors. However, the price listed at the time of your order will be honored. Payment must be made in full via our secure payment gateway at the time of placing your order.

Gift Through the Gap accepts major credit and debit cards as well as other payment methods as displayed at checkout. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. Your payment details will be securely processed and will not be stored on our servers.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We currently offer delivery within the United Kingdom, with standard delivery typically taking 3-5 business days from the date of dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on location, external factors, or peak periods. Bank holidays are not counted as business days and may impact delivery times.

Our gift boxes are designed to fit through a letterbox, so recipients do not need to be present to receive the delivery. As our website expands, we may offer larger gift box options that will require a recipient to be available at the time of delivery. Please refer to Section 6 for more information.

We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers. However, we will work with you to resolve delivery issues promptly. Delivery timelines are not guaranteed, though we will make every effort to ensure your order arrives within the estimated delivery window. Please be aware that factors outside our control, such as weather or courier delays, may impact delivery.

5. Accuracy of Billing Information

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per individual, household, or order. These restrictions may include orders placed by the same customer account, using the same billing address, or using the same payment method. If your order is modified or canceled, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information provided at the time of purchase.

We may also restrict orders that we believe are placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors. By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and current purchase and account information. You also agree to promptly update your details, such as email address, billing address, and payment information, to ensure we can process your order and communicate with you as necessary.

6. Returns and Refunds

Gift Through the Gap follows a careful packing process, but if an item is missing or damaged, please contact us within 14 days of receipt so we can investigate and assist with a resolution. We may not be able to investigate claims made after this period.

For authorized returns, please securely repack the item using the original packaging to avoid damage during transit. Orders with custom touches, such as handwritten messages or gift wrapping, will incur a 25% restocking fee if returned. We are unable to accept returns beyond 14 days from the purchase date.

Returned items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, which is non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount. Return shipping times may vary depending on your location. Please retain proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation, for all returns.

6.1 Damaged Goods on Delivery

We take every precaution to ensure that each gift box is packed securely and arrives in excellent condition. Once a gift box has been delivered to the specified address, Gift Through the Gap is not liable for any damage, loss, or tampering that may occur after the delivery is completed.

If you believe the box was damaged in transit, please contact us within 14 days of the delivery date, providing photos of the damaged item(s) and the packaging, as this may assist us in investigating the issue with our delivery partners. However, please note that we cannot guarantee a replacement or refund in cases where damage occurs after delivery is confirmed.

7. Custom Orders

At this time, we do not offer customized or personalized gift boxes. Our gift boxes are curated and pre-made, and changes or substitutions cannot be accommodated. We plan to expand our services in the future to include customization options.

All content, including text, images, and designs on our website, is the property of Gift Through the Gap. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any materials from our website is strictly prohibited and may violate copyright and trademark laws.
